"In my work I am transforming objects and materials that would normally be thought of as waste into wearable art jewelry through repurposing and upcycling. I combine materials like plastic with metals such as silver, copper, brass, and steel to create a dynamic relationship."
"By utilizing color, movement, and tactile qualities, I am encouraging the wearer and viewer to have a playful interaction with each piece. It is my goal to create thought provoking wearable art jewelry that challenges and reconfigures viewer stereotypes of material usage, value, and importance."
